„To Hybradize or Standardize?,” that is the question!
It’s simpler and more cost effective to roll out a standardized, company-wide project management methodology. This, however, has its drawbacks as an organization’s portfolio comprises programs and projects with unique constraints and opportunities. The only way to optimize the success of the portfolio is to maximize the success of all component programs, which requires bespoke project and change management approaches. So do we take the frugal standardization route and settle for average portfolio results or invest in training our people in multiple disciplines to take portfolio execution to the next level?
